About Microsoft AI & Research Org AI & Research is a new group formed at Microsoft solving to accelerate our innovation in AI, and to enable Microsoft to create truly intelligent systems and products for our customers. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy scalable intelligent services Lead a team of smart engineers to develop the product and drive innovation Analyze risks and compromises with various design choices Collaborate with Partners and address customer needs Qualifications BS/ MS degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field with 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 of those years as an engineering manager Strong software design and coding skills Experience in developing distributed and large scale infrastructure components Experience with recommendation systems, text processing systems, ranking systems, speech recognition systems or similar machine learning systems, a plus Passion for new technologies, quality, and customer satisfaction Excellent communication and collaboration skills Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
