Job Description

Responsibilities

• Work with developers to design micro services and event-driven workflows
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Write proper unit tests and documentation
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Recommend and execute improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Developer,Software Engineeror similar role
• Prior 3-5 years of experience with NodeJS, Sequelize, Express, Mocha preferred
• Experience with React and React Testing Library
• Strong experience with backend languages such as Java, C#, Ruby, Python will also be considered
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, MongoDB, Redis, and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
• Attention to detail
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
