The Team

As a Developer in Catalog and Content Management team @ SAP Ariba, you will get to work on some of the key engineering initiatives planned to support our rapid evolution and growth. In this process, you would also be involved in solving some of the most challenging problems associated with highly scalable, fault tolerant, distributed systems in the software engineering space today.

Catalog team is ramping up to move over to next generation multiple loosely coupled microservice primarily moving from document processing to stream based processing.

THE ROLE:

You will be member of the core Ariba Content and Catalog Product team in Bangalore, SAP Ariba. Your role will be to

5+ years of experience in developing products
Exceptional coding skills in an object-oriented programming language (Java)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Experience with web technologies, Java, Linux, Apache frameworks, Oracle, Solr, Redis/No SQL
Excellent command over Data Structures and Algorithms
Work closely with solution managers, architects, team members, technical leaders, user interaction designers, and QA engineers.
Write design specifications, and subsequently implement and unit test the software.
Presenting ideas for system improvements across the organization and building POCs.
Interact with customers for requirement, design discussions and for adoption of new features.

Education:

UG:   B.Tech/B.E. - Computers

PG:  MS/M.Sc(Science) - Computers

Doctorate:  Doctorate Not Required
