Job Description
Responsibilities
Operational support for SaaS customers
Developing and maintaining deployment automation
Maintaining web services and load balancing such as Apache, Nginx, HAProxy
Supporting Java application servers like JBoss EAP, Tomcat, WebSphere
Maintain application and host security schemas
Troubleshooting and resolving issues in cloud environments
Maintain automated backup and recovery
Requirements

Requirements
3 years of DevOps engineering experience
Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure. Certification is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of JAVA enterprise applications as well as JBoss and WebSphere platforms
Experience in managing customer facing environments under SLAs
Understand and maintain security and compliance
Hands-on experience with load balancers, web servers, and application clusters.
Solid knowledge of Shell, Python scripts
Experience in packaging tools (ANT, Maven) a big plus
Good understanding of configuration management and automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins. Solid knowledge in CI/CD concepts
Knowledge of containerization technologies
Expert knowledge of Linux operating environments and system administration skills
Understanding of testing methodologies and validation processes
Experience of working with source/version control tools
Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues before they become problems
Ability to multitask
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to perform urgent tasks during off business hours
Stay current with industry trends and drive improvement
Solid team player
Bachelors Degree or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field.
