Job Description
Ensure the activities by holding the commitments in terms of quality, costs and deadlines.
Participate in the Release planning and identify the risks
Experience in Test Automation Frameworks, White Box Testing, Web Automation
Analysis and Problem solving
Ensure no blocking in the Automation activities
Knowledge of web technologies, frameworks and testing tools
Analyse quality of service and suggest improvements, wherever possible
Working in Agile & DevOps mode

Providing Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction to the Automation Team and Organization
Architecting, developing, and maintain an innovative test automation system for the organization.
Prepare Reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re - usability, and maintainability of their test scripts
Define automated test criteria, designs and develops the organization?s Test Automation framework, and develops automated tests for all functionality that meets specified automation criteria
Works closely with the application architect to develop a solid testing solution, working towards the future state of the application architecture
Assists in the training/mentoring of team members, including testers, developers, and business analysts and implements organization - wide quality process initiatives to ensure quality of deliverables
Must have worked in Agile mode of delivery
Good in Technical investigation, Debugging, Problem solving and analysis
Experience in Test Automation Frameworks, White Box Testing, Web Automation and
API testing
Good experience in working in DevOps mode will be an added advantage
Experience of Database and Cloud automation, Infrastruture as code will be an added advantage
Working knowledge of Monkey testing / Chaos monkey would be a plus
education, qualifications, and certifications
B.E. / B.Tech., MCA, M.Sc. / M.Tech. or equivalent
Experience
Minimum 5 years and maximum 7 years of relevant experience in Software development
Good level of practiced technical knowledge
Technical skills
Strong experience in Selenium and Robot Automation test framework
Good experience on building Test Automation frameworks for projects
Strong Test Development experience with Java, Groovy and Python
Strong expertise in Linux scripting
