Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop and/or re - engineer complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
• Demonstrate agile and dynamic software support capabilities.
• Be responsible for maintenance and improvement internal applications.
• Perform application development based on Agile methodologies & participate in requirements /
• user story analysis, design and execution.
• Maintain websites.
• Conduct appropriate unit and module testing; detect, report, investigate and fix defects in the
• application (production support).
• Fix bugs if necessary and improve usability.
• Troubleshoot apps for bugs.
• Improve apps for maximum speed.
• Troubleshoot UI and improve its performance accordingly.
• Continually focus on improving the entire application lifecycle.
• Work effectively in collaboration with other team members, partners and other support functions
• when required.
• Developing front end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, sys admins and customers. Tailor product solutions to their
• needs and requirements.
• Ensuring cross - platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Recommended Qualifications

• 8 years professional related experiences
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK , different versions of Android , and how to deal with different screen sizes Expert in Client - side and Server - side JavaScript programming.
• Proficient in web front - end technologies - HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript / NodeJS / React / Angular .
• Proficient in modern database/storage technologies.
• Competent in designing and building web applications and/or web services in a commercial setting.
• Very good understanding and working knowledge of Java and REST APIs is a big plus
• Competent in design/implementation for reliability, availability, scalability and performance.
• Competent in software engineering tools and best practices .
• Skilled at writing Unit and Autom ation tests Possess a solid understanding of CI/CD and SDLC : code
• review best practices, code coverage analysis, continuous test, and delivery
• Skilled with git and branching processes
• Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate technical problems to software
• teams and management.
• Hands on experience managing databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis
• Exposure to event driven systems and event streaming engines like Kafka
• Good knowledge of DevOps tooling like docker, Kubernetes
