Devise and implement a pricing strategy in order to maximise revenue contributing to REVPAR (revenue per available room)
Verify data related to apartment activity, occupancy rates, room nights, rooms sold, average rates to establish sales forecast and adjust the pricing policy and rooms available by segment in line with company strategy.
Implement all control systems relating to apartment reservations - adhere to pre-set availability rate control and selling strategy ensuring revenue maximization at any given time in relation to market trends.
Forecast future availability and capacity requirements based on business plans, strategy, market trends, demand and availability. Ensure forecasting is accurate and strict deadlines are met
Create and maintain high quality forecast within the Revenue Management system and yielding process (e.g. process design documentation, templates, guidelines) and ensure process are regularly reviewed, audited and subject to continual improvement to remain fit for purpose.
Take ownership, optimise and exceed Company Revenue targets.
To propose, implement and assess actions to maximize revenue, combining knowledge of current business performance, market position and demand, resource availability and business channel mix.
Identify and manage capacity / availability issues and risks in line with Budget and monthly forecast. Ensure capacity / performance / availability requirements are optimised in line with Commercial Strategy.
Review business plans, identify gaps and ensure proactive efforts to fill capacity and meet set targets
Contribute to the selling strategy of the company
Required Candidate profile
The ideal candidate for Revenue Yield Manager will have experience having worked in serviced apartment accommodation sector within a similar role.
The right candidate must have a strong knowledge of the London market.
As a Revenue Manager you will also have experience and understanding of both Individual Reservations and Sales. You will have experienced a fast paced and rapidly changing environment and have the ability to respond quickly to changing market conditions (forecasting and competitor pricing behaviour's analysis)
Ideally having experience in a service apartment or hotel revenue management using property management software (PMS)
Experience using social media and OTAs and updating promotions and rates.
Advance Microsoft Excel knowledge and advantage of using excel Power Pivot
Other attributes needed would be as follows;
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Pivot is a huge advantage
Property Management Software experience
Strong analytical and numerical skills or analytical background is a huge plus
