Senior Application Engineer Job in Statewide, Karnataka for Microchip Technology Inc. | Engineering Job Description Good understanding and hands on experince in Embedded firmware development and testing. Godd hands on experience in developing automated validation framework. Good experience with programming/ debugging in embedded assembly and C programming languages. Ability to create abstract models for complex systems (an understanding of Object-Oriented design concepts or experience with OO design, C++, or other OO language helpful) Experience with Python scripting. Some experience with assembly language MIPS or ARM(32-bit) Microcontrollers Experience with RTOS support, Board Support Package (BSP) development, device drivers, and system layers. Familiarity with Software Configuration Management, modern software design principals, and generally accepted coding practices Ability to communicate well in both written and verbal forms Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple departments and multiple geographies Job Requirements Bachelor s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering with at least 6+ years of experience in embedded firmware/ software development Experience with developing large modular embedded software in a non-scheduled or co-operative multitasking application environment Experience with designing and debugging state machine based applications Should have excellent and advanced embedded C programming skills.
