Job Description

Responsibilities

• Manages various QE automation tasks
• Develop framework for UI/API regression tests using open source tools (eg: Selenium/Fitnesse/Tellurium)
• Analyse different layers of product and develop automation to reduce manual efforts
• Code and execute automated test scripts using basic java, including some design and execution of API level tests
• Develop tools and scripts to automate backend tasks.
• Perform Functional/System testing of the product
• Review and understand the dev code and seek clarification as needed to develop with test plan

Experience & Education

• 2 - 3 years of industry experience complemented by product delivery sign - off experience
• Performance testing using open source tools like JMeter, Webload
• J2EE, UI layer programming (server & client), and web - based information technology (application servers, web servers, databases, networks)
• Good knowledge in Core Java, (REST) API testing and able to write test cases
• Database (mysql, mssql etc.) knowledge
• White box testing
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related technical discipline)
