Job Description
- Minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience with embedded controls development or verification
- Experience with Tessy - unit testing tool, experience in unit testing and ability to read and understand "C" and Assembly source code.
- Knowledge on Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow tools and ability to prepare, update or modify Simulink models as required for code generation and testing
- Software verification on hardware using MIL and SIL test vectors (Note: In some cases, MIL and SIL test vectors may not be available, in this case test vectors should be generated or created manually to get 100% code coverage). Comparison of Code behavior with the Model, verify Code coverage, identify Any less Code coverage, Code and Model mismatch
- Thorough Understanding of control module embedded design - microprocessor peripherals, memory allocation, compilers, linkers, programming standards, etc.
- Experience in running the code to run on processor unit and tests to be executed to evaluate the expected behaviour on it
- Capture of resource usage metrics (Worst case RAM, ROM, Stack, Clock cycles).
- Perform unit testing as defined in the unit testing guideline document, Identify range issues, Identify overflow/underflow, Identify coverage issue
- Uncover dead code or redundant code by trying to achieve 100% code coverage
- Identify requirement conformance issue [ Dependency on well define FR and well documented Design]
- Identifying the deviation (MDD, SRC, and DD) or any other bug/Anomaly in the code
- Generate Output of UT in the form of the report generated from TESSY
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with formal problem-solving skills (Fishbone analysis, etc)
- Support meetings internally and with customers to discuss test plans and test issues
- Perform Peer Reviews and Participate in project review meetings
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with a requirements management tool such as DOORs
- Good understanding of microprocessors and microcontrollers
- Prior experience with Tier-1 supplier is a plus
- Ability to travel for training and meetings
Education:
- Bachelor - Electronics & Communication Engineering (Required)
- Master - Electronics Engineering (Preferred)
