Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Act as a key member of the Project Delivery Team to manage Design standard and update global guidelines
- Coordinate relevant architecture/ design/ workplace consultants for the duration of the project.
- Collaborate with the Property Management team for the successful delivery of projects.
- Coordination of stakeholders throughout the project process.
- Leverage other Workplace Design & Planning team members for additional support and subject matter expertise as required.
- Partner with Sourcing teams to assist with procurement of A&D, Workplace, FF&E, etc services in collaboration with Project Management.
- Maintain an active awareness and understanding of global workplace trends, innovations and opportunities.
- Produce performance reports of designers for design quality manager.
- Ensure lessons learned/general feed - back is captured to enable continuous improvement.
- Develop and update workplace guidelines, processes and tools together with the client.
- Work with a regional team to provide local design solutions that meet business needs and client s workplace policy.
- Work together with the client's project management office throughout the project delivery process in terms of workplace design aspects, ensuring compliance to project schedules and budgets.
- Produce initial consistent test fits according to guidelines, through the on site space planner.
- Drive the collection of workplace data through the implementation of workplace investigations (i.e., occupancy tracking, surveys, interviews etc.) and work with the workplace performance manager to understand data implications.
- Lead and support change management activities with the client and their team.
- Travel may be required.
Requirements to succeed:
- Requires overall project management capabilities in a design environment with an understanding of interior design methods, quality control, building operations and maintenance knowledge.
- Overall 15 years of experience with relevant experience of 7 years in workplace/ corporate interior design/ design management
- Possesses extensive counselling, facilitation, conflict resolution, consulting and communication skills.
- Must also have advanced interpersonal, team building, leadership and organizational skills.
