Job Description
Design, develop and configure project deliverables for eCommerce applications primarily on IBM Sterling OMS and Enspire OMSReview high level business requirements for Omnichannel solutions and implement them using Sterling OMS suite or Enspire OMSAnalyze, troubleshoot and fix functional, deployment or systemic issues with enterprise software applicationsBuild tools for automated testing and deployment of applications
Develop and share best practices on installing, configuring and maintaining software applications
Guiding customers through OMS upgrades and solution rewrites as appropriate to leverage new tech stack or featuresSupport UAT, QA and performance tests to meet functional and non-functional requirementsLearn and champion new technologies and new versions of best-of-breed industry products to enhance customers
OMS implementationsMentor and train junior resources in Sterling OMS solution development Required Skills:Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering preferably Computer Science or Information Systems3+ years of Sterling OMS implementation/support/testing experienceAt least 2 years of Hands-On J2EE experience in Testing or Development and familiarity with SOA, XML, REST, JSON or with scripting languages such as Perl/PythonProficient in tools like Eclipse IDE, Fiddler, SOAP UI, CVS
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skillsSelf-starter with motivation and diligence to drive towards resultsWillingness to travel up to 70annually (all expenses paid) for US based positions. Occasional International Travel possible for India based positionsEnthusiasm to learn new tools, technologies and techniquesFamiliar with SQL and usage of either Oracle Database or DB2Good knowledge of Unix/Shell Scripting
Preferred Skills:Passion for innovating and using technology to find creative solutions to optimize systemsExperience working with Perl, Python/Jython, Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana (ELK), Cassandra, Monitoring tools like NewRelic, AppDynamics , SplunkApplication servers Websphere / Weblogic / JBossMessaging systems MQ/Tibco/Other JMS SystemsLoad Testing/automation tools LoadRunner, Grinder, JUnit, JMeter, WinRunner, SOASTA, Silk
