Job Description

Qualifications: A good graduate degree (1st or Upper Second)

Skills: Linux Administrator, DevOps, SysOps Engineer, System Admin

Responsibilities:

Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain an uptime service.
Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.
Fault finding, analysis, and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions.
Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hotfixes on servers.
Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks.
Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
Monitor everyday systems and evaluate the availability of all server resources.

Skills Required:

Hands-on experience with RHEL and Debian based distros.
Experience with Linux System Administration methodologies and technologies (automation, provisioning, configuration/updates, management, and monitoring).
Strong understanding of network layers and technologies.
Exposure to public cloud environments highly desirable (especially AWS, Azure Or GCP).
scripting abilities (Bash, Perl, Python, or similar).
Good documentation and communication skills.
Certifications in Linux administration or public cloud administration desired.
