Job Description
5 - 6 years in Design of Embedded Systems or Applications support of Embedded Software & Debug Solutions.
Knowledge on Electronics, bus architectures & IO interfaces (PCI/ PCIe/ SATA/ USB/ Serial/ Ethernet/ I2C/ SPI) is
preferred.
Knowledge on hardware platforms like VME/ cPCI/ VPX will an added advantage.
Should be proficient in C/C++ programming and 16/32/64-bit microcontroller applications.
Proficiency with Linux OS & Internals (like Kernel porting/ updating, socket programming), compilers, QT & IDE
development tools
o the exposure to RTOS (VxWorks, Integrity, Lynx) will get more preference.
Hands on experience with cross development tools.
Expertise to debug issues within Embedded Environment.
Hands-on work experience in handling hardware & software system integration.
Strong Technical Knowledge, Excellent Communication skills, Ability to be flexible and proactive.
Required Candidate profile
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers on Embedded Software Design & Debug for System bring-up (with OS &
required tools), Cross Compilers/Assemblers, In-Circuit Emulators, GUI Design toolchain/ GUI development etc.
- Provide support & assist customers in developing Drivers & BSPs under RTOS.
- Evaluate customer's technical requirements and suggest Industry & application specific solutions.
- Technical presentations and demos on the Embedded Products
- Provide Training on the usage of RTOS, tools & solutions.
- Assist & manage fellow design & application engineers.
- All India Travel to address customer needs & requirements.
Additional Skills / experience (Not essential, but will be an added advantage):
Knowledge of Embedded Systems and Software Engineering Development Lifecycle.
Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems.
Knowledge on BSP & Driver Development under any operating system.
