Job Summary:Applications are invited for temporary position of a JRF/SRF position in a research project on Study of Lunar Geo-morphological and Impact Cratering Processes through Chandrayaan-1 Datasets funded by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).Duration: One year or upto the project duration (whichever is earlier).Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Earth Sciences or Geospatial Sciences. Candidates should have valid GATE/NET card.Essential Qualification:The candidate having experience of working on DEM data, analysis of morphological features and knowledge of Python or Matlab computing language will be preferred.Responsibilities and Duties: The project work is related to remote sensing analysis of Chandrayaan-1 data, interpretation of morphological features on lunar surface and its comparison with similar features on the Earth surface.Interested candidates are encouraged to send their CV with the subject line Application for JRF position in a ISRO funded project to Prof. Vikrant Jain, Earth Sciences Discipline (vj**n@ii**n.ac.in ) before 13th May, 2020.
