Job Description:
The Senior Big Data Engineer is expected to work on multiple projects as a technical lead driving user story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software applications, and builds-automation tools. Translates complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design, and high performing software.
Technical Skills:
10+ years of hands-on experiences in engineering as a senior contributor and proven leader.
Should have 1-2 years of relevant Architect Experience.
Relevant Experience into big data should be 4+years and should be coding background.
Should have experience into Architecture and Design.
Technical proficiency in at least one programming language - Java / Python / Scala.
Cloud experience: GCP (Google cloud) is preferred. AWS/Azure is also fine.
Kafka/ Active MQ / RabbitMQ / ZeroMQ / RocketMQ. Kafka preferred.
Expertise in Streamsets is a must.
Oracle/MySQL/PostgresSQL - one of them.
Hands on coding required.
Webservices / rest- any one is mandatory.
Understanding of Linux would be a plus.
Previous experience in Data warehousing would be a plus.

- Excellent Presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent inter-personal skills, working in collaboration with onshore and offshore teams.
- Adaptive for change and implementing new technologies & process.

- Strong skills on mentoring/growing junior people.
