The Mainframe Operations Leaders for the L1-L2 Mainframe support, owns the technical performance of First Line Operations, their constant training and exposure to the latest Z IBM Mainframe technology. They owns the operations tasks but not limited to performing the infrastructure changes, IPL's , software and hardware changes , monitoring , execution of incident and emergency changes , remediation and resumption of service.
Responsible to participate in the team to increase the efficiency of problem resolution techniques understanding of applications and critical business functions, also the skills to interact and maintain etiquette while being part of the technical coordination to find the shortest path to repair-resume. This is a highly focus technical role no management functions.
Requires to be flexible to work on 10 to 12 hour shifts as needed we are a "Follow the Sun" operation model that has multiple operating locations worldwide and requires the ECC (Enterprise Command Center) operations to function 24X7X365 , this position reports to a Location leader and also requires weekdays as well as weekends work based on pre-allocated schedules.
Requires the candidate to be passionate about technology and social skills and able to be interacting at different levels of the organization as well as other teams to be able to accomplish the work.
