Job Specification:-
- Can be mix of delivery management, quality function of a software development organization
- Should have Knowledge of software process implementation, Audits, Metrics and technology assimilation
- Thorough knowledge of CMMi V models and implementation
- Thorough knowledge of Metrics
- Good knowledge of process definition and maintenance of QMS/ SPDBs
- Ability to drive Quality in a projects
- Ability to work in multi-cultural, international teams, good communication & presentation skills
- High inter-personal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge on statistical techniques for process improvement
Responsibilities:
1. Process Implementation Verification-
- Institutionalization & Training
- Quality Culture
- Software Process Improvement Plan
2. Metrics based Software Process Improvement implementation-
- To verify the process compliance implemented across the projects
- To conduct periodic audit of project's configuration management activities as per the project's defined software processes.
- To review the various work products generated during the project life cycle to ensure compliance to defined standards.
- To report the results of process verification to the projects and seek corrective action.
- To provide training on processes and techniques
- To provide guidance to project teams on the relevant software engineering practices for optimum results.
- To institutionalize the software quality movement within the organization through program initiatives and training on an on-going basis.
- To plan and execute continuous education with in-house faculty on software quality processes.
- To co-ordinate the efforts of task forces in key process area for documenting, implementing, defining software process metrics and auditing software processes, templates and guidelines - all within existing process framework.
- To provide guidance to project teams on the relevant software engineering practices for optimum results.
- To be responsible for all software process deliverables, plans and documents, including maintaining the company QMS and related process documentation.
3. To analyse metrics data on regular basis and come out with useful insights using Statistical techniques
