Cloud Service Operations Engineer - Chennai @ Software Ag Bangalore

Job Description

We, the Integration and API Cloud Operations team, are looking for you - to deploy, manage, control, administer, monitor & improve:
Infrastructure as Code with state of the art tools like Terraforming, Helm
Service availability and stability
Creating and maintaining CD pipelines
Handling of incidents 24/7 (on-call)
Onboarding of new customers and environments
Performance of our system
Services in Pre-Production & Production stages
Fire drills and documentation for disaster recovery procedures
What we expect from you:
Must have skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar education or working experience
Linux administration and comfortable with Bash
Exposure to at least one Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure
Exposure to at least one Configuration & Infrastructure management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef
Take over on-call duties
Good vocal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Skills:
Analytic mindset and good with troubleshooting issues
Exposure to Git, GitOps
Experience in managing SaaS / PaaS
Containerization and Orchestrators like Kubernetes
Networking and DB fundamentals
Self-starter mentality
