Job Description

This group is responsible for build and deployment of FactSet s codebases containing millions of lines of code and enhancing and maintaining many of build/code analysis tools. By working on this team, you will have an opportunity to grow your knowledge about different types of products we offer and other new emerging web technologies, hone your analysis and debugging skills, communicate with a wide variety of developers and stakeholders, and enhance the overall development experience throughout the company.

The ideal candidate is someone who will be able to make a large impact on a small team. Because there is such a broad and diverse set of tasks that we work on daily, part of your job will be to help determine what the most valuable task to work on.

Highly Desired Skills :

• 4+ years of industry experience
• Experience with Python and any other Object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with OOP concepts
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Experience with service-oriented architectures
• A strong interest in distributed systems and in developing highly performant software
• Strong communication skills, with both technical and non-technical people
• Independent and proactive

Required Skills:

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
• Comprehensive understanding of programming principles
• Comfortable navigating a large codebase
• Experience with Relational or NoSQL databases
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment
