Job Description
Job Responsibilities
The broad responsibilities of this profile is listed below -
- Interaction with onshore counterpart for process understanding
- Understand process documents, SOPs and prepare synopsis basis understanding
- Perform SOX testing
- Assist peers in translating test documents for SOX testing
Detailed responsibilities -
- Liasioning and coordination with the Japanese team for understanding the key processes including designing, evaluation, testing and documentation.
- Converse with Japanese/English with the Japanese team wherever required
- Translate detailed process documents, SOPs within defined timelines
- Prepare documentations such as process flows, narratives basis discussions and obtain confirmation from process owners.
- Testing and understanding the controls basis documents obtained from Japan (in Japanese and in English).
Challenging Aspect of the profile -
- In this profile, the candidate is expected to be well versed with Japanese language so as to be able to translate various documents available in all formats within strict timelines.
- The candidate may have to travel overseas for discussions, KTs, SOX testing.
Core Competencies
- Ability to read, write and converse in Japanese language (JLPT N1/N2 or equvalent is preferred with 1 to 4 years of experience in translation related profile)
- Candidates should have good Financial Accounting and Internal Controls knowledge
- Good MS office skills
- Inter personal skills, communication and presentation skills
