1)Assessing and planning nursing care requirements

3) Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions
4) Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
5) Writing records
6) Supervising junior staff
7) Organising workloads
8) Providing emotional support to patients and relatives
9) Tutoring student nurses.
