Job Description
Position : Senior Software Engineer (AWS)
Project : Create personalized acquisition engine to help the company- a fortune 500 retailer giant, to shape their acquisition strategy, creating state of art software applications, optimize machine learning models, and drive big data initiatives
Location : Chennai
Employment Type : Long Term Contractual and Full Time
Key Role Areas : Understand Organizational needs and device suitable engineering solutions and processes / applications in synch with other members of the team.
: Create end to end application in the areas of personalization, machine learning, data engineering and campaign optimization
: Develop effective QC testing and new features meeting business requirements.
: Provide leadership and extend Technical support to offshore team in data engineering and building scalable production framework
Qualifications and Experience:
- B. Tech
- AWS resource Expertise in AWS Glue, AWS EMR and SageMaker
- Python Developer with Python QA experience CI CD expertise
- Experience building and deployment of highly reliable and fault tolerant software products
- More than 3 years of experience working in collaborative environment with other engineers
- Git Source Control
- Pull requests Code reviews
- Testing exposure required
- Unit test
- Regression test
- Continuous integration
- Experience with automating ML Data pipelines preferred
- Experience with PySpark preferred
- Modeling experience preferred Uplift modeling, propensity score matching, Linear Logistic Regression and other supervised and unsupervised algorithms
