3Pillar Global is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise and experience in AWS Infrastructure support & ITIL processes i.e. change management, incident management & problem management. The duties associated with this position include analysis of problems, introduction of best practices, and solving specific application related issues.
Technical Competencies
Minimum 2 to 6 years of relevant work experience Strong Experience in a large-scale, high-traffic, redundant, cloud-based IaasPaaSSaaS environment at a Public Cloud provider like AWS, Azure. Strong experience in Terraform, AWS infrastructure (S3, EC2, VPC, IAM policies, Auto-scaling, Security Group, Lambda, Cloud Trail, Cloud Watch, Redshift, Elastic Search, RDS etc), Azure experience will be an added advantage Experience with Monitoring tool New Relic, App dynamic, Splunk, Prometheus etc.
Strong experience with Infra as code (IaC) CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis Good experience with Infra as Services Docker, Kubernetes. Strong experience with setting, maintaining CICD for both server & serverless applications using JenkinsCI (Jenkin Pipeline), AWS code pipeline and other related tools Experience with any of the scripting languages like Shell, Python. Good to have experience in TERRAFORM (Implementing serverless architecture, Cognito, API, Gateway, Dynamo DB, Lambda, S3, experience using modules and dynamic variables, HA design, code pipeline code building using terraform). Roles & Responsibilties 247365 Level 2 technical support and Proactive production environment monitoring. Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration, Testing, Delivery and Deployment environments System, application and logs monitoring for the Product, including, server health checks, application uptime monitoring, and log monitoring for issues that may not be apparent via end users or system metrics. Should one of these monitoring activities fail, a system alert would be generated.
