Job Description

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree with 3 - 5 years project experience as MicroStrategy Reports Developer
- Knowledge of the MicroStrategy SDK
- Experience Designed interactive and visually stunning Dynamic Dashboards using Report Services objects like Waterfall, Graph Matrix, Gauges, Micro charts Widgets and Grid/Graph combinations.
- Strong Data modeling (Logical and Physical) experience with high proficiency in using ERwin for Dimensional Modeling (Star, Snowflake schemas) and Entity - Relationship Modeling.
- Installing and Configuring of MicroStrategy suite including MicroStrategy Desktop, Administrator, Intelligence Server, Web, and Narrowcast Server on NT Servers and Sun Solaris Environments.
- Strong experience in understanding Business Applications, Business Dataflow and Data relations. Exception ability to quickly master new concepts and capable of working in - group as well as independently.
- Produce Ad - Hoc queries and reports as needed along with providing on - going analytical support for these requests with metrics, attributes, relationship filters, and prompts to support reporting
- Perform detailed data analysis, validation, and identify data quality issues to ensure consistency across all environments
- Extensive knowledge of SQL,PL/SQL and worked on very large databases in Teradata V2R5/V2R4, Oracle 10g/9i/8i/7.x, and SQL Server 2005/2008
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Interpersonal skills to interact with team members and clients
- Ability to assist in gathering, consolidating and prioritizing client business requirements for various BI projects across the organization
- Exposure to tools like Qlik, Power BI, Business Objects etc. is desirable
- Basic understanding of Insurance is desirable
