Trade Finance Paralegal consultant - Chennai @ Euro Exim Bank

Job Description

Handling of all trade finance issues when required, this will often involve liaising with existing trade finance and operations teams from a different company entity.

Export /Import Letter of credit /guarantee wording negotiation with counterparties.

Review Import/Export Letter of credit /guarantee draft against last UCP/URDG/ISBP to ensure they are workable.

Document presentation review under the Documentary letter of credit. Draft and review agreements with our customers (e.g. terms and conditions, privacy policy).

Review and keep employment and option agreements up to date.

Guide and advise executives and teams with legal matters when needed.

Stay up to date and informed of the latest rules and regulations which will affect our business and ensuring the leadership team is given the necessary guidance on this front.

Document management of our legal agreements and ensure that the agreements with partners are renewed and terminated on a timely manner
Draft and review agreements with our customers (e.g. terms and conditions, privacy policy).

Stay up to date and informed of the latest rules and regulations which will affect our business.

Ensure all contracts, policies and procedures adhere to the latest regulations and laws.

Assist in ensuring the company and its employees are aware of the laws and regulations that affect them.
