Job Description
- The Intensivist reports to the Medical administration head and Medical Director and plays a key role in providing special care for critically ill patient
- Maintain risk management, assess changes in the patient's condition
- Act as a team leader in a cardiac arrest situation
- Oversees decisions involved in a critically ill patients care and coordinate all the other services the patient may need including those from specialists.
- Improve patient outcomes, including survival rates, reduce complications,shorter lengths of stay in the ICU and enhanced medication safety
- Perform other clinical, patient, customer, administration, emergency care and critical care related activities
- Ensure patient health & safety and ICU quality assurance
- Daily MIS and report management
Required Candidate profile
- Qualifications: BMD/ ANESTHESIA OR INTERNAL MEDICINE OR DNB, ANESTHESIOLOGY OR PEDIATRIC / PULMONARY MEDICINE OR IDCCM/DNM/ DB/HMS/BAMS/MBBS OR ICU fellowship
- Must have a commitment to excellence in clinical service, forward thinking and demonstrate problem solving abilities necessary in this environment
- Good communication (written & verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and work under pressure
- Management of acute related emergencies, fully registered and current license to practice as required by Law
- Additional Requirements: Humble, detail oriented, effective communication skills in patient education, Compassionate and Caring
