Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Senior Deployment Engineer from a product or services-based company who will be responsible for building, deploying and supporting the build and deployment infrastructure at ZeOmega. The engineer will also be responsible delivering customized software for multiple customers at ZeOmega. This role will work very closely with multiple functional groups like software development, software testing, implementation and customer support groups in the process. Should ensure and guarantee smooth and timely delivery of high quality software products or updates to customers
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and development of tools, scripts, installation procedures and systems including source code control and issue tracking.
- Work closely with a quality assurance team to ensure final version is up to organizational standards.
- Work with various members in the team to automate and evolve the build and deployment infrastructure.
- Work with other technical team members to resolve all release related issues.
- Works flexible hours to avoid impact to production and other critical systems.
- Product installs/upgrades in Hosted/Client Environments. Troubleshooting Product related install/upgrade issues.
- Product Administration, maintenance and upgrade of Application/Product infrastructure.
- Ability to work with various software version control systems (GIT)
- Working closely with the development, DevOps, Product Release team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies to meet our feature requirements.
- Significant knowledge on Planning, organizing and prioritizing various tasks related to production and No Production.
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows system tools
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work is a fast-paced dynamic environment
3-5 years of experience in relevant technology and industry
