Job Description
Job Responsibilities -
We are expanding our Prop Trading Desk and looking for Derivatives Prop traders with at least 3 years' experience of working on systematic derivatives trading strategies. He/she should be ready to work with us on Profit sharing basis which will include part salary and part profit based compensation. We have significant capital available to deploy in prop strategies so there is good growth opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Derivative strategies as well as trading & risk management of the trade
- Trade in Index, Stock and currency derivatives based strategies. Options strategies is preferable
- Analysis of trading performance & development of new logic to improve trading performance
- Work independently to trade and manage the portfolio
- Working closely with team members
What we are looking for:
- 3 + years of experience in Derivatives trading with a strong understanding of the Indian markets
- A well-developed strategy with a proven track record with ability to articulate the expected returns and use of capital
- Strategies that are systematic and back tested. Discretionary trades are not preferred.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate the strategy along with ability to clearly explain the risks and how the portfolio will be managed
- Good understanding of Risk Management (both vanilla and stress situations) and hedging
- Strong analytical, statistical and quantitative abilities including the use of Excel for analysis
- Very strong communication skills- ability to present ideas and strategies clearly and interact well with both peers as well as senior management
- Hard working, self-motivated and a willingness to see a task through to the end
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters in a quantitative field is preferred
- Bachelors or Masters in commerce or other fields should be able to demonstrate their analytical skills
