Strategic o Owns the Vision and Strategy of the Innovation Lab and Products Business Unit (BU) in the Publishing Sector o Accountable for driving financial results for the BU delivering world-class product(s) / workflow solutions to target markets / market segments based on key outcome metrics o Owns the P&L for the BU o Drives innovation as a culture and part of the organizations DNA
Program / Product Management o Leads market, customer, and competitive research and analysis for product(s) offerings by soliciting direct client input from senior client contacts, non-customers, and analysts o Understands key competitors from a capability, client value, pricing, acceptability, and go-to-market perspective and creates/course corrects Integras value propositions
Team Management o Builds and manages a global team of product engineering and solutions professionals o Directs the various product development teams with an entrepreneurial spirit o Implements Lean Start-up disciplines, develops a reliable partner network augmenting in-house capabilities and efficiency o Actively engaging in trade-off discussions between capability and schedule o Drives the cross-functional (and sometimes cross-division or cross-Unit) collaborative efforts to meet development schedule commitments
Sales & Marketing Collaboration o Leading dedicated product sales team for acquiring new customers o Working collaboratively with KAM team for existing customers o Working with the Marketing, Sales and Key Accounts teams to plan innovative go-to-market strategies o Represents the organization in various events and conferences as a subject matter expert Important deliverables and outputs/outcomes
