Job Description

Position summary

This position is responsible for designing, developing, coding, unit testing, and debugging new applications and producing enhancements to existing applications as part of the EDI and Encounters Team. Provides solutions to improve operational efficiency in health care IT Claims between our internal infrastructures and Network Partners, Providers, Members, Payers and fellow NCH colleagues.

Essential functions

  • Develop conceptual, functional and technical design for projects related to Healthcare EDI processes (837, 834, 835, 278, 270, 271 etc.)
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal guidance
  • Ability to consistently operate with a strong focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to produce work with an exceptional high level of accuracy
  • Anticipates, recognizes and proactively solves problems effectively
  • Ability to summarize technical issues and communicate effectively to non - technical audiences

Academic Qualification

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field (required)

Minimum of 3 years in Health Care industry as a developer
