Backend - Core Platform Engineer

What you'll do

• Build large scale, observable, and highly available infrastructure systems

• See a problem or opportunity, take ownership and act on it independently; develop methods and habits to be an informed and motivated product owner

• Develop technical documentation, diagrams and templates and be rigorous in maintaining accuracy and relevancy of developed materials

• Improve developer productivity through better tooling and insights into our APIs (Graph or REST): discoverability, versioning, error rates, and frequency analysis

• Collaborate with UI teams to enable new functionality and to support their needs (build libraries to support client-side functionality)

What you bring to the role

• Experience in working with C# .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.

• You are experienced or should be able to adapt at least two languages

• You are a hands-on engineer, and you love what you do

• Experience in building distributed systems with highly available and scalable infrastructure

• Experience in developing Microservices, Concurrent, Event-driven systems

• Optimize server and protocol performance to improve efficiency and latency

Nice to have:

• You can work with fuzzy requirements and turn it into a real working solution

• You have a passion for building automation as well as products

• Open-source contributions
