Lead Engineer User Access Management - Gurgaon @ Macquarie Global

Job Description

About the role

As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of engineers, ensuring the team follows best engineering practices and deliver quality and scalable software. You will be a hands - on leader, working in the trenches with your team, modelling and encouraging a collaborative working style. You will have a keen eye for balancing design decisions over immediate customer needs as well as capitalising on future market opportunities. The role will challenge you to work on various key development projects involving the following: cloud migration, REST API, Integration, site reliability engineering and lastly, data analytics.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills:

• experience in leading a team of engineers, working in an Agile and DevOps environment
• strong experience working in cloud computing environments (AWS preferred)
• expert knowledge and experience with API design and development (Java SpringBoot)
• experience with system monitoring and logging tools (e.g. AppDynamics, Splunk, CloudWatch) desirable
• experience with continuous integration and relevant tools, in particular using Atlassian products Bitbucket/Bamboo/Jira etc.
• strong programming and problem - solving skills with at least one general purpose programming language, Java preferred
• experience on coding with either RDMBS or NoSQL database/cache
• strong sense of ownership, self - motivated and able to self - manage work
• strong troubleshooting skills and creative problem - solving ability
• experience in SailPoint, or similar Access Management tool desirable
• experience in Ping Federate or similar product desirable.
