Job Description

Restores and promotes patient's health by completing the nursing process.
Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

* Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and hospital or regulatory standards.

Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.
Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information and participating in team problem-solving methods.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Evaluate and monitor the patients progress
Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patients medical condition
If necessary respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors
Care for patient needs through out their recovery in the ICU unit
Complete al necessary paper work before transferring a patient
Create and implement effective care plans

Required Candidate profile

Graduate / BSc. / GNM Nursing from established and recognized school of Nursing

Conversant with English, Tamil and Hindi ( knowledge of any other language will be entitled for better prospects)

Registered Nurse (RN)
Active applicable state licensure
BLS and ACLS

Clinical skills
Bedside manner
Infection control
Physiological knowledge
Administering medication
Medical teamwork
Multitasking, listening, and verbal communication
Health promotion and maintenance

Minimum Experience

4- 5 years post qualification in ICU - of Multi specialty Hospital

Maximum Experience

8 - 10 years

Basic UG /PG Qualification

BSc Nursing / GNM
