Job Title: Head- Area Sales Manager- East India
Job Location: Kolkata
Position Summary:
The Head ASM- East will manage the Revenue for East India Business. This Sales Leader will build and provide leadership direction to the East Sales Team to achieve the said budget for the region. This Leader will Identify, develop, manage and retain revenue-generating opportunities for the organization through the strategic and tactical sales and support of all product and service lines. Directly, or indirectly, manages the process from lead validation to product and services delivery, working with marketing, customer service, operations and delivery providers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Drive Value Selling Culture at all levels through innovative solution selling approaches along with a culture of Voice and Dignity, Candor and Transparency throughout the region.
- Develop and manage the business for East India (West Bengal and nearby region) by providing dynamic leadership for the Sales organization to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Maximize business opportunities and grow revenue across the product portfolio for Private Clinics, Nursing homes, Labs, Pharmacy, Healthcare institutions etc.
- Develop and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships including key opinion leaders, senior managers and key customers in the Healthcare industry in East India as required.
- Identify and drive the implementation of opportunities for change that will support continued improvements to Sales, internal processes and performance
- Ability to prioritize the critical few and work within the timelines and resources; Implement strategies for new and existing products together with the CMO to ensure Healimpilo's success across. - Agreements and cultivate a culture of Compliance and right Business Process
- Ensure strong understanding of the marketplace, including competitive accounts and client trends
- Work closely with the Marketing Team and customers across the region to help organize marketing events, Marketing Campaigns, CMEs, Conferences etc.
- Work with the Sales and Application Team to Organise Road Shows, Technical Demonstrations, Round Table Meetings (RTMs) etc for Medical awareness.
- Drive rigorous business processes; Develop and own a robust sales funnel to drive customer retention and competitive wins.
- Coaches the team to select the right problems to solve and understand their root causes; works collaboratively and promotes teamwork across functions.
- Create an environment in which people want to do their best and recognize the team for successes and take accountability for his/ her own role in any failures.
- Models integrity, ethics and values, leads by example; words and actions are fully aligned; holds team accountable.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree OR Masters degree with 3+ years of experience in healthcare segments like Pharma, Hospitals and clinical laboratory market, experience in Healthcare software would be an added advantage.
- Strong track record of success in sales positions with increasing levels of responsibility
- Expertise in demand generation and multi department hospital and lab sales.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Graduate in Science, MBA will be an added advantage.
- Skilled in MS Word, Power-point and excel applications.
