Assistant Manager-Raw Material Procurement @ Ferrero

The role ensures purchasing activity of raw material with the required and expected quality standards. Develops and activates new supply sources or new partnerships in order to: lower prices, improve quality standards set by Quality and RM R&D, guarantee the raw material supply. Ensures monitoring of supplier s performance and management of suppliers portfolio.

1. Ensures budget and medium-term plan objectives achievement while meeting timing, costs, and required features by Zone Sourcing Manager
2. Analyzes, in support to Zone Sourcing Manager, the local market, identifying suppliers that are potentially suitable to quality and innovation Ferrero Group requirements
3. Performs procurement activities for local materials, and managing the relative orders/contracts in order to ensure raw materials availability to relative production units (internal and external), while meeting agreed volumes, timing and quality standards
4. Ensures at local level procurement continuous improvement activities, having strong interaction with relative Supply Chain units, with the objectives of TCO minimization and operative excellence
5. Performs negotiation for local supply in order to minimize TCO as well as ensuring compliance with qualitative/quantitative parameters and delivery timing
6. Monitors local suppliers performances in the relative productive units, in order to achieve objectives in terms of security, quality, quantity, timing and competitiveness as well as keeping track of performances for Group Vendor rating
7. Performs analysis of suppliers behavior on the local market and providing information regarding market evolution to Zone Sourcing Manager in order to optimize international suppliers management
8. Supports Local Legal Department in management of possible litigations with local suppliers

Looking for dynamics professional with 8 to 11 years of relevant experience in FMCG. Master s degree is must with operation background. Must be expert in Negotiation Skill. Having expertise on Raw material Quality parameters and business urgency. Ability to use networks to influence business activity.
