Job Description

Job applications are invited from creative innovative Fashion Designer candidates having artistic capabilities in hand sketching, designing and presentation. Skilled in visualising an idea and producing hand or computer-aided unique designs. Candidate will supervise the sampling department and is responsible to source of trims, embellishment accessories. Must own leadership personality to supervise the team.

Job Responsibility:

Producing concepts

Making sketches by hand or on computers

Developing patterns

Overseeing production

Analyzing trends in fabrics, colours and shapes

Selecting and buying fabrics and trims

Adapting existing designs for mass production

Supervising the making up of sample garments

Quality control

Key Skills:

Oral and written communication, computer proficiency, creativity, artistic ability, excellent decision making detail oriented.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years (Preferred)Candidate who has Textile/Fashions Design background experience will be preferred.

Education:

Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFT) / B.Sc. Fashion Technology with hands on experience in Coral draw, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
