Job Description
You will need to have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of cloud technologies, orchestration & automation systems, data centers and cloud architecture, as well as excellent communication and planning skills.
What you'll be doing:
- Build, lead and develop a team of full - stack, backend, cloud engineers passionate about developing scalable cloud solutions to scale to millions of jobs and thousands of systems
- Drive architects, designers, engineers to build and operate key pieces of a complete infrastructure to manage significant problems in area of infrastructure such as job scheduling, resource management and automated recovery.
- Collaborate with different teams to identify new features and lead the developers in definition, implementation as well as productization of those features
- agile software development processes, and supervise the activities of your team.
- Develop roadmaps, perform prioritization and software development schedules.
What we need to see:
- You have a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of coding and reviewing experience of object oriented programming using Java.
- 5+ years experience in leading a software development team in agile environment as well as performance sensitive and/or real - time software and customer facing software products.
- 10+ or more years of experience in software design, including debugging, performance analysis, and testing designs.
- Highly proficient in developing large scale cloud infrastructure applications
- Knowledge of various technologies (Kubernetes, Kafka)
- Experience with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes) Web Services (SOAP/REST) and Scalable Storage(HDFS/Ceph/Swiftstack)
- Experience with Relational Databases such as MySQL, NoSQL DBs such as Elastic Search, MongoDB, HBase
- Ability to collaborate across multiple team and across people working in different time zones.
- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills, you have the ability to work successfully with multi - functional teams and coordinate effectively across organizational boundaries and geographies. A history of mentoring engineers is a plus.

- You have worked on computer algorithms and proven ability to choose the best possible algorithms to nail complex problems
- You are able to divide complex problems into simple sub problems and then reuse available solutions to implement the solutions.
- Experience in design, implementation and deployment of major infrastructure features across multiple servers in incremental rollout mode
- Experience with Machine Learning and Data Analytics and application of them in Infrastructure
