Established in 1995, Pragya is a non-governmental, development organization implementing projects in the remote and underserved regions of the world. The organization aims to deliver integrated and holistic development projects in the areas of agriculture, natural resource management, water management, disaster management, renewable energy, education, health and gender. Pragya is currently operating in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Kenya in the global south and in the UK and USA. Pragya invites applications for the following position:
Position: Manager, Operations
Location: Gurgaon, India
1. Help in Monitoring and Coordination of the field offices and partner interfaces towards effective delivery of projects in remote areas and through field offices/partners.
2. Regular planning for, and tracking & coordination of field activities, and deployment & management of field personnel, providing appropriate guidance for the achievement of related targets
3. Documentation of field activities and preparing regular reports on achievements and plan-to-results gap statements.
4. Providing regular feedback to the Programs team, and coordinating with it for project planning and achievement of project objectives.
Knowledge, Experience, Skills:
Qualification - Master's degree or equivalent in development or a related field
Experience - Minimum of 5 years
The person will be required to be very self-motivated
Passion to self-learn and pick up any new ideas in a fast paced social-startup environment
Ability to work independently, take ownership of activities and drive to completion.
Good communication skills - Hindi and English
