Team Manager/scrum Master - Agile Framework @ Spectral Consultants

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Role :

- You would be required to build shared understanding of agile framework and scrum practices, establish within and outside teams in reporting outcomes and outputs, chart dependencies and identifies issues early stage to ensure teams operate on a successful and repeatable cadence.

Key Accountabilities :

- Initiate, drive and facilitate scrum events including daily huddles, sprint planning, planning poker, sprint review, sprint retrospectives etc.

-Facilitate blocker resolution sessions, initiate role triages and related events during scrum.

- Guide our teams on how to use Agile practices and live Agile values, guiding them to remove impediments and leading them to manage this independently.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and those from other disciplines to identify what will be most critical to the success of a product or service, and assist with internal and external communication .

- You'll also help to improve transparency

- Build shared understanding of agile framework and scrum practices, Establish within and outside teams in reporting outcomes and outputs, chart dependencies an identifies issues early stage to ensure teams operate on a successful and repeatable cadence.

- Develop metrics reporting frameworks, chart actions for teams arising out of retrospectives, build approach and cadence for resolution of inter-squad and intra-squad dependencies

Must Have Skills :

- Experienced Scrum Master of at least 4-5 years' experience in leading teams in their Agile journey.

- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency

- Excellent practical experience of successful implementation of agile methodologies and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.

- Additional leadership skills in previous roles, (e.g. team leader, project manager)are beneficial

- Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Good To Have Skills :

- Skills in IT infrastructure, cloud service area (IaaS, PaaS) and containerized environments (Dockers, DC/OS, Kubernetes) are optional but beneficial

- Knowledge about Agile techniques like : User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.

- Certified Scrum Master Tools

- JIRA/Confluence experience

Education:

UG:   B.Tech/B.E. - Computers, B.B.A / B.M.S - Management

PG:  Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization

Doctorate:  Doctorate Not Required
