Job Description:
We are looking for a Web Application QA Engineer to assess software quality through manual and
automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, simulate end users
expectations, usability factors and enhancement possibilities. In this role, you should have a keen eye for
detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are
passionate about quality, wed like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications
and systems work correctly.
Responsibilities:
Build test strategies, write and execute test plans, file bugs, and communicate with the team about issues,
risk, and product quality.
Create and execute test cases (manual or automated, multi-device) and analyze results.
Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
Report bugs and errors to development teams.
Execute high-level code review as per best coding practices.
Expand our end-to-end automated/manual test coverage (optional and time permitting).
Create, prioritize, and organize test cases into logical suites for both automated and manual execution.
Utilize QA best practices, patterns, and processes.
Maintain traceability of tests to requirements and specifications.
Maintain a high degree of technical competence with the latest web application testing technologies.

Competencies (Must have):
1-3 years of experience in web application testing with excellent knowledge in manual testing.
Should be familiar with responsive web applications and web pages.
Knowledge of REST API testing and REST API testing tools.
Experience in high-level code review as per best coding practices (HTML, CSS, JS, Python etc.).
Working knowledge of any test and bug management software like Jira.
Excellent analytical skills to understand technical and business requirements.
Should adapt well with agile methodology.
Dedication to quality and a positive, collaborative attitude and approach.
Competencies (Good to have):
Experience in automation testing, preferably with Selenium WebDriver.
Knowledge in ecommerce platforms.
Knowledge in web application framework like Angular, React etc.
Understanding of SQL & database models.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience working in complex computing environments being able to formulate and implement effective test
strategies.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, constantly changing atmosphere and prioritizing work appropriately.
