Job Role - Sr Database Engineer

Location - Navi Mumbai / Bangalore / Pune & Chennai

Job Purpose:

Experienced PostgreSQL / Yugabyte Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and enhance our PostgreSQL / Yugabyte database systems. Will ensure optimal database performance, reliability, and security while supporting the organizations business goals. This role will involve hands-on management of database environments, proactive performance tuning, security enforcement, data backups, disaster recovery planning, and providing training and documentation for technical teams.

Key Skills:

1. PL/pgSQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views
2. PostgreSQL / Yugabyte Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and enhance our PostgreSQL / Yugabyte database systems
3. Database RDBMS, , Distributed, Data, Performance Engineering, HA, Integration
4. Knowledge of database backup and recovery techniques, including PITR (Point-In-Time Recovery).
5. monitoring tools such as pgAdmin, Nagios, or Prometheus.
6. database security and encryption methodologies.
7. Experience with cloud-based PostgreSQL solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL
8. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for database automation
9. Experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes
