Job Description
SAAS Software/Technical ArchitectSUMMARY OF POSITION:
This is a key position for Product division which is at the forefront of driving innovation and incubation of software products and cloud services contributing to the business growth. We are looking for an experienced technology leader to help us design and build the future and cloud services platform. Saas Software/Technical Architect, you will be the foremost technical expert engaging with our core product members for the architecture, design, prototyping and implementation of evolutionary solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the plan, design, architecture and infrastructure support needed to address the software product requirements preferably in Microsoft Technology background
- Analyze, propose and implement the core technology strategy for product development.
- Understand market- driven business needs and objectives- technology trends and requirements to define architecture requirements and strategy
- Conduct impact analyses of changes and new requirements on the product development effort
- Define and develop technical standards for development teams and participate in design code and test reviews as appropriate
- Lead, direct and participate in functional and technical design of the product and new technology adoption
- Create work plans which define scope, milestones, quality, risk, deliverables, and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate and Guide actively in the design and development of all technical deliverables
- Manage and work professionally with team members to enhance their business and/or technical knowledge.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience 5 to 7 years of total experience with a proven track record in successful software product development, technology architecture - ideally SaaS product experience.
- Skills/Attributes Technology Thought Leader and Evangelistic Adopter of next generation technologies
- Solid, demonstrated and deep experience in core application development with strong foundation in Networking & Database Architectures
- End to End exposure in distributed systems programming, File system architecture, Scalable Cloud Architecture and Backup & Disaster Recovery systems is highly desirable
- Expert in Product Development, Solution Architecting, Scope and Requirements Gathering and Quality Assurance
- Bachelor's /Master's degree in either Computer Science and other Engineering Disciplines from a Premier institution.
