Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:- Responsible for executing marketing activities according to corporate annual marketing tasks, to ensure achievement of annual sales target.
- Responsible for formulating various such managerial procedures as project bidding (commercial, technical & price), contract signing and project transfer as well as coordinating and organizing the same in line with corporate organization chart and characteristics of MNC.
- Responsible for market analysis of target market, capable of assessing the market capacity for similar projects accurately, carrying out price analysis into awarded projects, evaluating and analyzing market trend and potential clients, executing targeted marketing activities.
- Responsible for seeking suitable agencies or partners and maintain sound relationship with them for different projects.
- Responsible for taking the initiative and preparing bidding plan, completing bidding formality, bid evaluation (commercial, technical & price), contract negotiation, contract review, project transfer and etc.
- Responsible for organizing discussion for analysis of techno-commercial risks of tendering documents, evaluating potential rivals for the projects, devising bidding strategies in consultation with all related departments, project agencies and partners.
- Responsible for preparing commercial bidding documents, organizing and coordinating related engineering department and cost department for the preparation of technical and price documents; Responsible for organizing field reconnaissance, participating in various bidding meeting and replying clarification documents; Responsible for collection, combination and submission of bidding documents, securing approval of the final price quotation for the project, coordinating with concerned personnel to ensure due submission of bidding bank guarantee/bidding security.
- Responsible for organizing commercial negotiation and signing EPC Contract; Responsible for producing extract of Main EPC Contract critical terms and conditions and intimating the main project executors of the same in the kick-off meeting.
- Responsible for assisting project manager to address related problems during execution of the specific awarded projects.
- Responsible for the settlement of bidding bank guarantee for unsuccessful bid and filing of marketing material.
- Engineering study background, postgraduate and above.
- At least 10 years working experience in thermal power industry, 8 years and above working in marketing industry, aged between 35 and 55.
- Familiar with India and South Asian thermal power industry; conversant with tendering procedures of NTPC, NLC, DVC and various state level power corporations; capable of completing commercial bidding documents independently with exhausted input from related departments.
- Possession of certain techno-commercial knowledge, capable of completing bidding & tendering documents in coordination with related departments, and feeding instructive recommendations for preparation of bidding and price quotation.
