Job Description

1. Adress Patient Care, Staffing and any other issue that may arise
2. Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department and coordinates care planning with other disciplines
3. Must be able to work under sustained pressure and during stressful situations
4. Responsible for maintaining open communication with physicians to ensure safety quality, and accuracy for all residents and staff
5. Readiness to address a residents significant status change
6. House Supervisor on staff to ensure staff aways have someone to call with questionsconcerns
7. Troubleshoots problems andor issues regarding patientfamily care, visitors, and facility issues on off shifts and weekends
8. Supports policy adherence and provides disciplinary measures as needed
9. Demonstrates professionalism and consistently models excellent customer service skills
10. Monitor and facilitate smooth and timely patient flow to ensure customer satisfaction and process efficiency
