Process Overview

DPS DI Team hosting 8 Data Integration Tools like Informatica , IIS , Altryx , Trifacta , Zaloni , Nifi ,Tibco and Kafka . Team hosts the environment and takes care of Onboarding of applications and maintaining the environment .

Job Description.

The Zaloni and Big Data HadoopAdministrator role will support the DPS DI Groups , which has an Enterprise shared platform and a few Application dedicated platforms. This position will be responsible for administration of Zaloni and Big Data Hadoop Suite tools providing production and operational systems support to Clients and Stakeholders. This position includes platform support, application configuration, monitoring, capacity and utilization, application security, archiving, backups, disaster recovery, end user support, training and documentation based on Customer's corporate policies, industry best practices, and business requirements.

Responsibilities

Design platform topologies and Install Zaloni and Big Data Hadoop and its dependent software on Hadoop servers as part of Design & Build and install Zaloni and Big Data Hadoop patchesFix packs as part of Software upgradesfixes

Configuration of operating system level and application related environment files

Create projects, manage usersgroupsprivileges, setting project level variables as part of Application on-boarding

Establish connectivity between Zaloni and Big Data Hadoop and various database servers based on Application requirements

Proactively work on requestissues reported by Application team members and complete them within defined SLAs

Create detailed process and technical documentation

Co-ordination with support partnersVendors to resolve issues

Assist and resolve production issues as part of support

Follow best practices, platform usage standards and guidelines

Requirements

Education - B.E. B. TechM.E.M. TechBSCMSCBCAMCA (prefer ITCS specialization)

Certification NA

Experience Range : 2 4 yrs

Mandatory Skills

Good HADOOP Administrator skills, basic commands and scripting experience

Good experience in administering Zaloni and Big Data Hadoopplatforms running on UNIXHADOOP operating system, using Web Console and DS Administrator clients.

Good understanding of Zaloni and Big Data Hadooppower center architecture Tiers, Services and installation topologies

Good knowledge on all the basic stages, properties and functionalities available in powercenter Designer Administrator clients

Ability to implement and manage automated monitoring solutions for Zaloni and Big Data HadoopPlatforms to ensure SLAs are maintained

Good Project and Time Management Skills

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills

Must be able to work independently, while guiding and assisting other support team members as needed

Great Communication Skills - Must be able to professionally communicate and interface with Teammates, Peer Technology Groups, Clients and Vendors of the Bank to provide best-in-class service delivery

Should be flexible in work timings after-hours and on weekends if required as part of an on-call rotation schedule
