Job Description : Applications are invited from citizens of India for filling up the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work under the R&D project by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB IMPRINT Project), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
Project Title: Development and Demonstration of Pilot-scale Hybrid Wastewater Treatment System with Hydrodynamic Cavitation and Bio surfactant for Recycling of Textile Effluent

Compensation Duration: 3 YEARS
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/-pm + HRA
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (MSc in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry or equivalent) with First class at UG and PG and valid GATE score/ NET
OR
M.Tech in chemical engineering/ Biotechnology/ Environmental engineering with First class at UG and PG and valid GATE score
The students with eligibility will be considered as per MUJ norms and recommendations of selection committee.
Duration: 3 years
Last Date: 6th June 2020 (before 5:00 pm)
Job Profile The selected candidate is expected to conduct exploratory research in the area of microbial studies,bio surfactant and wastewater treatment. The appointment is for strictly time bound project and she/he is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project.

General Terms and conditions
1. The candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit. Mere fulfilling the minimum qualifications will not entitle the candidate for being called for interview. The decision of the selection committee will be final in this regard.
2. Candidates shortlisted for interview should appear in person with originals of degree certificates (one set of Xerox) and date of birth proof along with any other relevant information (e.g. experience certificate, copies of publications if any, awards, recommendations letters etc.). In case the lock down persists, interview can also be conducted by Video conferencing .
3. The above fellowship is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of there search scheme and there search student shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in MUJ.
4. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview or at the time of joining the post.
5.Candidates who are already employed should produce Relieving Certificate from their employers, if selected. Eligible candidates only will be informed for interview by phone or email.
Call for interview Shortlisted candidates for interview will be intimated through e-mail/ telephonically or display on institute website. The interview will be scheduled tentatively in the 2nd week of June 2020. The candidates are advised to check their emails regularly.
Additional Information Candidate selected for this position might also do regular PhD provided they satisfy the eligibility criterion for PhD program of Manipal University Jaipur.
