The major responsibilities include:
1.To ensure the indent and stock maintained in the department.
2.Responsible for monitoring quality control checks on regular basis and maintain the relevant data.
3.Responsible for TAT of genetic biochemistry department reports.
4.To ensure the compliances pertaining to the department.
5.Responsible for all PNS Outcome audit.
6.To ensure the internal and external quality control programmes in the department.
7.Responsible for addressing field queries (Technical Queries).
8.To represent biochemistry in all management reviews.
9.To Train the subordinates if and when required.
10.Resource management for biochemistry department.
11.To perform the statistical analysis in the department.
12.To ensure that all the equipments are maintained well in the department.
13.To ensure the waste segregation of waste as per the norms.
14.Responsible for the smooth functioning of the department.
15.To report to Medical Director/Consultant Pathologist/Laboratory Director/DGM and coordinate with Quality Manager related to QMS activities.
16.Responsible for performing special and routine investigation and maintain relevant registers.
17. Assistant Manager will carry out the roles & responsibilities of the Manager in his/ her absence and will be responsible for implementation of quality system activities.
18.In absence of Manager, Senior Manager/Team Leader shall take up the responsibilities and vice versa.
19.Any other work assigned by the superior time to time to time.
