Job Description
We have opportunities for suitable candidates who can carry out the following responsibilities- Supervising a team of engineers and help build next generation IT infrastructure e.g. containers infrastructure using Dockers & Kubernetes
- Building, managing, and upgrading the firms critical IT infrastructure such as Linux, Windows, Git, DNS, Kerberos, Syslog, Apache, Perl, Python, E-mail, Ansible, ELK
- Safeguarding the Firm and customers data which travel across the network or are at rest
- Minimizing the risk of system failures and ensuring that controls are in place to detect failures
- Working with tech teams to ensure that infrastructure scales dynamically based on usage patterns
- Adopting Site Reliability Engineering practices in the group and defining SLOs for various components
- Managing, designing, executing, and owning delivery and maintenance of infrastructure projects/products
- Tailoring processes to manage time-sensitive issues and bring them to appropriate closure
- Owning end-to-end availability and performance of mission critical services and building automation to prevent recurrence of problem
Qualification
- Education qualification no bar
- Working experience of 3 years
- Experience with a variety of tools to manage, understand, and debug large, complex distributed systems
- Good knowledge of Unix system, web technologies, databases, and public cloud systems like AWS, Networking, Systems
- Experience with Linux administration and strong programming experience
- Attention to detail and the ability to work well in and across teams
- Ability to advocate and influence multiple stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
- Experience leading a team of highly skilled engineers
- Strong communication skills

- Databases: MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, MongoDB
- Scripting Language: Bash, Python, Ruby, Ansible
- Monitoring Tools: Nagios, Sensu, Zookeeper, Observium.
- Analytic Tools: Grafana, Kibana, Ganglia
- Cache: Redis, Memcache
- Authentication/Authorisation: LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory, MFA
- Collaboration Tools: Slack, Jira
- Audit Tools: Greenbone, AlienVault
