Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research category-related topics and maintain a library of content resources
- Track online sources, news updates, product launches, and do expert and consumer interviews on an ongoing basis
- Generate fresh ideas and deliver high quality articles, white papers, blogs, guides, product descriptions etc. to meet objectives of our content strategy
- Plan and own the monthly content calendar for digital marketing
- Create and update content on website and social media
- Submit work to business leaders and coordinators for input and approval
- Coordinate with designers and video producers to repurpose content
- Conduct keyword research, competitor research and use SEO guidelines to achieve growth in website traffic and leads
- Edit and proofread all forms of content before publishing
- Tracking performance of published content and recommend improvements
- Identify customers' needs in content, track and ride on viral trends
- Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure consistency in style, voice and tonality
Skills and Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience with excellent writing and editing skills
- Passion for the electronic goods industry
- Portfolio of published content for brands, and prior work experience as a Content Writer,Copywriteror similar role
- Experience of working with designers and publishers
- In-depth knowledge of keywords, meta tags, SEO and link building for content pieces
- Understanding of popular web publications and social media platforms
- Experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Bachelors in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
